The Vybz Kartel ongoing saga has taken another turn!
New information is that six policemen who were assigned to the Gun Court Remand Centre have been transferred and are facing corruption charges after they were allegedly caught on camera taking money from a close relative of the jailed entertainer.
Vybz Kartel who is currently facing two separate charges of murder has since been transferred to the Horizon Adult Remand Centre on Spanish Town Road. One of the dancehall deejay’s attorneys Christian Tavares-Finson had this to say.
The self-proclaimed “World Boss” has been in jail since October 3. Vybz Kartel, his fashion designer Mooney and Gaza member Shawn Storm along with another man are charged with the August 16 murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams in Havendale, St Andrew.
Kartel has also been charged with the July murder of Barrington ‘Bossie’ Burton in Gregory Park, St Catherine. The deejay is also facing charges of ganja possession.
